American Tornado project- Build hills into the countryside to cause more even cloud cover, and smoother storms. Flat plains allow these storms to keep a tornado rolling and growing. Even if they still happen, having an F5 never become more than an F2 is a big deal. PA I have never seen a tornado. I know they have been around but you would never know. In Ohio for a day and a funnel cloud passed over. It's amazing.
Simple plan, not the band- Build hills into the plains to disrupt the storms, slow the jetstream, and create a larger total of rainfall, and a more even distribution of it. We are trying to water the plants, not thrash the earth.
Hurricanes-
1) I think we should use them. They do weird things as any meteorologist will tell you. The way it sucks currents from the jetstream, or slams moisture into a cold front wave. We can use a hurricane to pull massive amounts of moisture, and then kill the storm as it nears land. If we kill the storm in a way that throws the clouds outward, rather than drain the cloud methods, we should be able to gather a ton of moisture to throw into a slow moving system as it makes landfall.
A) Conversely, changing the storm from "suck to blow", we can pull a jetstream in a direction we want to amplify rainfall. it may take 30 in a row to get things going, but again this plan is to set things into an equilibrium so we no longer need to engineer the weather.
we are undoing the damage we have done.
2) Stopping them.
A) Make more, works with plan above as well. The storms that are the largest seem to come from abnormally warm water. every time a storm goes through, the water is significantly cooled. A tropical storm is all we need, and should play with. You can start storm and send them towards an area with high wind sheer for example, to know that the storm cannot possibly survive the conditions on its storm track. Plus our modification tactics.
B) Shock Seed- I can't wait to see this.
C) Seed- I like nitrogen
D) block- send another storm at it or opposite sides to counter the currents. could get messy if they join...
